When’s the last time you drank dirty water?  Probably never, or when you did it was from your neighbor’s hose when you were eleven.  But even that wasn’t really dirty.  I’m talking Tijuana dirty.  We don’t allow dirty water to enter our bodies.  We just don’t.  We know it’s toxic.
So then why do we allow toxic thoughts into our minds?  As our body is mostly filled with water, our days are mostly filled with our thoughts.  We spend our lives in our heads.  We mute what’s outside and only hear the broken record that plays inside.  This creates false beliefs and an emotional roller coaster.  It hinders us from living in the moment which ultimately leaves us powerless.  When when feel powerless, we don’t have the ability to choose happiness.  Read that sentence again.
In order to feel empowered, we must stop living in our heads.  We must stop obsessing, dwelling, comparing, seeking something we are lacking in ourselves.  We.  Must.  Let.  Go. We must accept.  Forgive.  Process.  Whatever it means for you to stop this compulsive thinking that creates a prison and locks your potential.
Imagine that every time you have an unhealthy thought, you are drinking dirty water.  Sewer water, the kind of water that will make you ill.  Because the truth is your thoughts are making you sick.  Know that by stopping these thoughts and reframing, focusing on  what is instead of what was, will be, or what ifs is the the key to drinking clean water.
You want to be healthy happy?
Think cleaner.
